SMIT Group - 13 companies in 6 cities, 10 representative offices in Russia and CIS countries
1997
SMIT Group has launched manufacture of preinsulated pipes on
Polymeric pipe manufacturing plant in Mogilev, Republic of Belarus.
2000
Two new companies are launched:
- Construction and Installation department of Polymeric pipe manufacturing plant;
- Pipelines OEM (as a department of Polymeric pipe manufacturing plant).
2003
SMIT Group initiates production in Smolensk region in Russia. Technologies of international standard are used in SMIT-Yartsevoplant.
2004
SMIT-Yartsevo plant launches automated line of
Polyethylene pipe case manufacture.
2005
Production capacity of SMIT group continues to grow.
The product line now includes complete preinsulatedpipe system
with all necessary components.
2006
SMIT Group widens product range and opens Polymeric pipe
manufacturing plant in Rechitsa (Republic of Belarus).
New plantmanufactures structural steel, heat shrink sleeves and
zink-coated pipe cases.
2010
SMIT Group expands business footprint and market presence
in energy saving solutionsfield. SMIT trade house is opened in Moscow.
2011
SMIT Group creates specialized construction and installation
department SMIT-Insulation. It focuses on
construction, reconstruction and modernization
of district heating systems.
2012
SMIT Group becomes the first Russian manufacturer that
usescyclopentane foaming technology for pipe insulation.
SMIT Group starts manufacture
of flexible preinsulated pipelines «Smitflex»
2013 to present time
SMIT Group develops production capacity and launches production
of polyethylene pipe cases of 1 600 mm in diameter.
SMIT Group starts manufacture and sales of hotmelt sealing tape.
SMIT trade house is opened in Saint-Petersburg.
